  • Complete evaluation
    • Infertility is the inability to conceive after one year of unprotected intercourse. Both the partners need to be fully evaluated. Detail history review with physical examination is needed. Investigating both the partners is mandatory.

    • Sexual dysfunction is another important cause of infertility.  It is seen in 43% of women and 31% of men. Fortunately, most cases are treatable so it is important to share your concerns with your doctor.

  • Diet plan for PCOS patients
    • Polycystic ovarian disease is an important cause of infertility. In addition to the medical therapy, the obese PCOS patients need diet counselling to reach the desired BMI. Weight loss before starting infertility treatment improves success rates.

  • Hystero Laparoscopy
    • This is a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia. It is a diagnostic cum therapeutic procedure for a number of factors which can be corrected. Hysteroscopy is used to correct anatomical uterine defects like septum, adhesions, polyps, sub mucous fibroids, etc. Laparoscopy is used to correct endometriosis, tubal blocks, ovarian cysts, Polycystic ovaries, fibroids, etc. This can be carried out as a daycare procedure.

  • Intra Uterine Insemination
    • This is a fertility treatment that involves placing sperm inside a woman’s uterus to facilitate fertilization. The goal of IUI is to increase the number of sperms that reach the Fallopian tube and subsequently increase the chances of fertilization.
